By using www.thehospitalityportal.com website or our any of other services you are agreeing to comply with and be bound by the following Terms and Conditions named terms of Service, which together with our privacy policy form an agreement between you and us.

www.thehospitalityportal.com (THP) is an intermediary service who connects brands and businesses in the hospitality industry with operators and projects to enable them to expand across the world through Franchising, Licensing, Joint Ventures and pop up events.

At THP we always aim to protect you and your data.  Whilst anyone can walk into a restaurant, take photo’s and try and mimic it.  We know you’re more than that and its as much the people and passion that makes any concept successful, so THP always personally vet and approved all portal attendees; in person.  

Anyone you don’t want to see your concept…. Let us know in advance and our process can be put in place to mitigate any unwanted access to key information.

THP promote the portal across multiple opportunities including social media, email marketing and direct messaging and require the right to contact the concepts or accessing parties at anytime to create the right business connections.

Our Services

The introduction and contract  from www.thehospitalityportal.com is personal to you and your concept. It may be based on your specific circumstances and your objectives.

Information, not advice

Our websiteit’s expansion is your responsibility.  We do not accept any liability for any loss or damage which is incurred from you acting or not acting as a result of any introductions via www.thehospitalityportal.com 

You acknowledge that you use the information we provide at your own risk and as such any successful introduction or business that comes from our services will received a fee accordingly.

The THP registration fees are specifically used for marketing and maintenance.   We ensure that everyone pays something, it’s a central pot which we use for marketing and management of the portal only.

The success fees we receive; are from the signature of your contract with a new partner.   They can be one of two ways – a minimum fee e.g. £20,000 or a percentage of the upfront fee a concept would received from a new partner.   In most cases we work to the % with a minimum inserted to protect our work.   All fees and contracts will be agreed before approval to be placed in the portal.

Our core services are as an intermediary.  Whilst we can recommend a raft of support services from friends or partners across the industry we strongly advise you have the right legal support and are diligently check before you expand.   If you use any of our partners or processes you do so at your own risk and should be insured as such.

Some parts of the website are restricted access to approved users only. If you are an approved user you must treat any information, such as but not limited to names / formats / concepts / brands / ideas as confidential and you should not disclose them.  Doing so breaches the Non circumvent agreement entered into at registration.

We maintain the right to withdraw or limit your access to this website at any time by our own request or that of our partners.   If you break any of these Terms and Conditions www.thehospitalityportal.com will seek to uncover and where needed expressly remove your access from the portal.   In circumstances where there is a potential loss of revenue or reputation by breaching the terms of service www.thehospitalityportal.com will use local law to prevent further and claim for any damages. We shall have no liability to you for your withdrawal of use at any time. In the event that your access is withdrawn, these Terms and Conditions will still apply and you’re bound by the non-circumvent agreement.

Unauthorised use of this website may give rise to a claim for damages and/or be a criminal offence.

Restricted access

Access to the portal area is restricted.  To access it you must have a current annual or monthly subscription approved and contracted by us.

By gaining access to the service you confirm that all of your registrations details are correct and that you will keep your details up to date by editing your user profile or by contacting me by email.

Access to the service will start from the day you subscribe and run for the subscription period you have chosen. Your subscription will automatically renew until you cancel your payment plan or request cancellation by email.

Your subscription cannot be transferred to or shared with anyone else.

Your access is for your own use and the NDA / non circumvent applies to you and those people within your business.   You are directly tied to the portal and its concepts by the agreement of access.  This information will be monitored by www.thehospitalityportal.com and any breach to this agreement will exercise a right to seek damages or loss of fees.

Cancellations

If you cancel your paid subscription within 14 days of the first payment you are entitled to a full refund.  There are no refunds after this 14-day period. If you subscribe and then cancel within 14 days more than once within a 12-month period you will only receive a refund for the first cancellation.

We reserve the right to cancel your subscription, without notice or liability, if we determine that you have breached any part of these Terms and Conditions. We reserve the right to refuse to renew your subscription, which you will be notified of via the email address you have provided.
